No Fans Allowed To Attend BYU/North Alabama Game; Only Team Family Members

PROVO, Utah – The BYU football home game against North Alabama on November 21st at LaVell Edwards Stadium will have no fans in attendance due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic. B

BYU has played in front of an empty stadium four times this season, but the good news for the Cougars is that LES won’t be empty. Families of the players and coaches are allowed to attend the game as BYU will seek a win against the winless Lions.

No fans will be allowed to attend #BYU vs. North Alabama on November 21st. Players' and coaches' families will be only ones in attendance.

No fans at BYU/North Alabama game

Those family members who will be in attendance “will be required to follow the current attendance protocol in place, including physically-distanced seating between households and the wearing of masks,” according to a press release from BYU.

This announcement comes on a day where the state of Utah recorded its highest number of COVID-19 cases. Utah reported 3,884 cases were recorded for November 11th. The previous high was on November 5th, where 2,989 cases were reported.

No determination has been made at this point regarding attendance for the BYU-San Diego State game on Saturday, December 12th.
