SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PGA Tour member Tony Finau will embark on his final preparations for the upcoming Masters Tournament by participating in this week’s Houston Open.
Finau enters the Houston Open in good form, despite only playing in one tournament following his tied eighth finish at the U.S. Open a month and a half ago.
Fortunately, Finau fans will be able to watch a lot of Finau at the Houston Open as the PGA Tour announced that his group has been included in this week’s featured groups through the first two days of play. He will be playing alongside Sergio Garcia and Brian Gay.

Other notables in the field include Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day, Adam Scott and Dustin Johnson among others.
Tee Times
Finau will begin play on Thursday teeing off the 1st tee at 6:35 a.m. before teeing off the 10th tee at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
The buildup to The Masters has been disrupted for Finau this year as he tested positive for COVID-19 and took two weeks off recovering from the virus. Fortunately, his battle with the virus ended and he was able to participate in the Zozo Championship where he finished in a tie for 11th. However, during the third round, Finau sat atop the leaderboard and looked optimistic to pick up his second career PGA Tour victory.
Finau’s only win on the Tour came in 2016 when he won the Puerto Rico Open.
