Dolphins Safety Eric Rowe Picks Off Rams QB For First Interception Of Season

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes and current Miami Dolphins safety Eric Rowe picked off Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff for his first interception of the 2020 NFL season.
The Dolphins hosted the Rams at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday, November 1.
With 4:51 left in the second quarter, Goff was hit as he threw the ball towards Rams receiver Gerald Everett. Rowe broke on the ball and picked off the pass.
The former Utah defensive back returned the ball four yards to the Miami 26-yard line.

It was Rowe’s first interception of the year and the fourth pick of his six-year NFL career.
The Dolphins owned a 28-10 lead at halftime and limited the Rams to one score in the second half.
Miami went on to win the game 28-17.
Rowe finished with seven total tackles, five solo tackles, five pass breakups, and an interception.

With the win, Rowe and the Dolphins improved to 4-3 on the season.
Miami’s next contest is against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 8 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on CBS.
