Utah Football Receives Commitment From Georgia Safety Cole Bishop

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utes added another recruit to their 2021 class with the addition of safety Cole Bishop.
Bishop is a three-star prospect from Starrs Mill High School in Fayetteville, Georgia. He is the 69th ranked recruit in the state of Georgia. The 247Sports composite listed him as an outside linebacker but his Twitter account and athletic background said that he is a safety. 247Sports composite rated him as the No. 47 ranked outside linebacker in the country.
The Georgia native announced his decision on Twitter on Oct. 31.
“I’d like to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for their support through the recruitment process. With that being said, I’d like to announce that I am 100% committed to the University of Utah!” Bishop tweeted.

Other than Utah, Bishop received scholarship offers from Duke, Air Force, Appalachian State, Boston College, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina, Dartmouth, FIU, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Liberty, Michigan State, Samford, Stanford, Vanderbilt and Virginia.
Bishop becomes the 13th recruit to verbally commit to Utah. He joins 4-star quarterback Peter Costelli, four-star inside linebacker Mason Tufaga, three-star running back Ricky Parks, three-star tight end Isaac Vaha, three-star defensive tackle Tevita Fotu, three-star inside linebacker Trey Reynolds, three-star athlete Velltray Jefferson, three-star offensive guard Koli Faaiu, three-star wide receiver Deamikkio Nathan, three-star defensive end Viliami Po’uha, three-star safety Darrien Stewart and three-star outside linebacker Jonah Elliss.
