No. 19 Pine View Battles Early Deficit To Beat Dixie

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – After trailing the Dixie Flyers 14-0 at the end of the first quarter, the No. 19 Pine View Panthers bounced back over the final three quarters for a 32-21 win.

Pine View quarterback Brayden Bunnell threw four touchdown passes in the win.
The Panther improved to 8-1 on the season and the Flyers fell to 4-5.

Region 9
Desert Hills 45 Canyon View 20
After trailing 14-7 at halftime, the Desert Hills Thunder scored 38 points in the second half to defeat the Canyon View Falcons 45-20. Thunder quarterback Noah Fuailetolo tossed three touchdown passes in the win. Desert Hills improved to 3-6 on the season and Canyon View fell to 3-6.

Hurricane 0 Cedar City 40
The Cedar City Reds blanked the Hurrican Tigers 40-0 on Friday night. Cedar City’s Seth Brinkerhoff scored a pair of touchdowns in the win. The Reds improved to 6-3 on the season and the Tigers moved to 2-7.
Snow Canyon 44 Crimson Cliffs 24
The Snow Canyon Warriors scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters on their way to a 44-24 win over the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs. The Warriors moved to 7-1 on the season and the Mustangs fell to 3-5.

Cedar Valley at Mountain View
This game was canceled due to COVID-19.
Ogden 10 Stansbury 62
On Thursday, the Stallions scored 49 of their 62 points in the first half. Kru Huxford and Matthew Topham each threw a passing touchdown, finding Brandon Funk and Tayson Miller once apiece. Huxford also ran in three touchdowns. Nate Bushnell added two rushing scores and one each from Ezra Harris and Pae Tia.

Tooele 27 Park City 46
On Thursday, the Miners had a 33-14 lead entering the fourth quarter before both teams scored 13 points in the final quarter. Park City had three rushing touchdowns from Seth Warner and one from Kirby Baynes. The Buffaloes scored two passing touchdowns from Payton Sprouse, connecting with Dylan Makoni and Ethan Rollie. Mateaki Helu and Tabor Shepard had a rushing touchdown apiece.
Uintah 14 Ben Lomond 30
The Ben Lomond Scots owned a 24-0 lead at halftime and held the Uintah Utes to only two scores in the second half for a 30-14 win. Ben Lomond’s Ryan Alverez scored a pair of touchdowns in the win. With the win, the Scots improved to 3-6 on the season and the Utes fell to 0-9 on the season.

Green Canyon 30 at Logan 17
On Thursday, the Wolves scored 24 of their 30 points in the first half, holding the Grizzlies to 10 points in the opening half. Jake Lundin threw a TD to Boston Stewart while the QB also ran in a TD as did Landon Peterson for Green Canyon. For Logan, Matthew Mason scored both of their touchdowns on the ground.
No. 20 Ridgeline 56 Mountain Crest 6
The No. 20 Ridgeline RiverHawks crushed the Mountain Crest Mustangs 56-6 on Friday evening. RiverHawks quarterback Kaden Cox threw four touchdown passes in the contest. Ridgeline improved to 7-1 and Mountain Crest fell to 1-8.
No. 8 Sky View 35 Bear River 20
The No. 8 Sky View Bobcats battled the Bear River Rivers and came out of the matchup with a 35-20 win. Sky View’s Kasen Carlsen and Walter Collins each scored two touchdowns in the game. The Bobcats improved to 9-0 and the Bears fell to 4-5.
