Daughter Of Former Utah Football Player Released From Hospital After Horrible Car Crash

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The daughter of former Utah defensive back Jimmy Nolan was released from the hospital about a week after their family was involved in a horrible car accident in South Carolina.
Nolan has four children. On the morning of Thursday, September 10, Nolan’s wife Taran, daughters Micki and Daisey and his son Jimmy, were involved in a head-on collision.
The car caught on fire and they were only able to save Taran, Daisy and Jimmy according to Nolan’s Facebook post. Taran was driving from Georgetown to Charlotte. Nolan was in Southern California with his daughter Paisley.
The crash was a head-on collision. South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Brian Lee reported the crash on U.S. 521 in Georgetown County at around 5 a.m. local time. Lee reported that the driver of the vehicle that collided with Nolan’s family died as well as Nolan’s three-year old daughter.
Brittany Hinzo organized a GoFundMe page to help with medical costs for the family. She has continued to update the GoFundMe page with medical updates from Taran, Daisy and Jimmy.

Daughter Daisy Released From Hospital
Hinzo wrote an update on Sunday, September 20 with the following:
“Jimmy Quick and Daisy Rain have been out of the hospital for a few days (YAY!),” Hinzo wrote. “Daisy has been doing amazing. So thankful for that. Unfortunately, Jimmy Quick was admitted back into the hospital last night with a suspected hematoma in his abdomen which they are thinking is from the seat belt. He wasn’t able to keep food down. The hospital he is at is hours away from where Tar (Taran) is.”
Update On Taran
Taran was the driver of the vehicle. Jimmy Nolan and one of his daughters was back in California when the accident happened.
“Taran was taken out of ICU and then put back into ICU under critical condition for breathing issues. She still can not feel anything from the shoulders down,” Hinzo wrote in the Sept. 20 update.
