Carlos Boozer’s NBA Career

After helping the Blue Devils win a national championship in 2001, the former Jazzman left Duke early to enter the NBA Draft in 2002. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers during the second round of that summer’s draft.

Following his sophomore season in the league, Boozer signed an offer sheet with Utah, which wasn’t matched by Cleveland, and he became a member of the Jazz.

The forward went on to play six seasons in Salt Lake City.

Boozer was selected as a NBA All-Star in back-to-back seasons (2006-07, 2007-08) during his time with the Jazz. Following the 2007-08 season, he was named a member of the All-NBA Third Team.

After the 2009-10 season, Boozer sent to the Chicago Bulls via a sign-and-trade with Utah.

During his time in a Jazz uniform, Boozer averaged 19.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 354 games.

The forward played in the Windy City until 2014.

Boozer’s last season in the NBA came as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers from 2014-15.
