San Diego Tight End Dalton Kincaid Transfers To Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – San Diego star tight end Dalton Kincad has decided to transfer to Utah football.

Kincaid played two seasons for the Toreros in 2018 and 2019. As a freshman, Kincaid averaged 15.6 yards per catch and 31.2 yards per game in 2018. He hauled in 24 catches for 374 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Last season in 2019, the Las Vegas, Nevada native caught 44 passes for 835 yards and 8 touchdowns in 12 games played. He averaged 19 yards per reception and 69.6 yards per game and was named an Associated Press All-American.

Kincaid announced his decision on Twitter on Thursday night.

In two seasons, Kincaid had 68 receptions for 1,209 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Kincaid will join a tight end group at Utah that is very talented and experienced. He will join junior duo Brant Kuithe and Cole Fotheringham who will both have a major impact on Utah’s offense this upcoming season whenever the season will be played.

Entering his junior season, Kincaid was named Preseason FCS All-American and Preseason All-PFL First Team. He is 6’5, 230-pounds and prepped at Faith Lutheran High School.
