SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake stars Albert Rusnak and Aaron Herrera both believe that the future of RSL is bright, despite the uncertainty surrounding the remainder of the 2020 season.
“I do not think you should judge the quality of our work in Orlando,” Rusnak stated. “The weather conditions and times in which our games were played at were odd, I do not think I have ever played a game that early or that late.”
Furthermore, both players are optimistic that the league will be able to return in a safe and protective manner in the near future.

“I am hoping that there is going to be some sort of a season, you know, ever since the negotiations started with the league the focus for the players was that there was going to be something after this Orlando tournament,” Rusnak said.
Herrera echoed the sentiments made by Rusnak –
“We are pretty confident that the MLS is going to do whatever it takes to keep playing games,” Herrera said. “We are going to start (practices tomorrow) back up and are going to be preparing as if we have a game.”
