First Initial Changes For Utah State Football Games Include Social Distancing Signs, Mobile Ticketing

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State Athletics is currently working on ways to keep fans safe for football games during the 2020 season.

In an email sent by USU Athletics, the school has already made changes to how fans, athletes and staff can stay safe.
The first few changes that fans will notice is increased signage encouraging social distancing, as well as a push towards higher utilization of mobile ticketing. Also, a clear bag policy will reduce gate entry touchpoints.
Other changes include a new mobile ordering and delivery platform for concessions. All staff will be taking safety measures by wearing facemasks, gloves and distancing where applicable.

The department is in the initial stages of installing new protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of fans, players and staff in the stadium. When asked by KSL Sports if the school has sent surveys to season ticket holders regarding COVID-19, the school said they have no plans to do so at this time but that could change as they approach the season.
They are working with local and state health officials along with campus stakeholders to evaluate their game day operations.
More updates will follow in the coming weeks as the Aggies continue to prepare for the 2020 season.
