“We wanted to get involved in the most meaningful way to our community. We wanted to help our frontline caregivers, because they are the ones that need the most help right now. The greatest part about this project is that you don’t need monetary donations, you just need skills. We need people to help sew masks. It is such an amazing thing to be a part of,” Finau said.

Already 800 volunteers have created 80,000 masks. The website has since stated that their registration system has been overwhelmed and if you experience trouble trying to register for your mask kit you will need to check back at a later date.
Finau has been at the forefront of multiple charitable initiatives during the coronavirus pandemic. On March 27th he announced that he will be donating 31,000 meals per day that will help feed 500 children within the Rose Park area.
As a Foundation we’re excited to partner with FORTHEKIDS and donate 30K to help provide relief during these difficult times. This will help cover 31,000 meals and feed 500 kids and their families over the next 6 weeks in my hometown. We're all in this together! #inspiresomeone pic.twitter.com/agnuWbgg1O

Then, on April 2nd, he uploaded a video asking Utahns to go visit testutah.com in an effort to “crush the curve.” “Let’s all get tested, c’mon Utah lets get back into the swing of things,” Finau said.
