SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Three local college football players accepted invitations to participate virtually in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The NFL announced on Monday, April 6 that this year’s draft would be “fully virtual” due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former Utah State quarterback Jordan Love and Utah standouts Jaylon Johnson and Zack Moss were among 58 players listed as virtual participants for the Draft.

“League and club facilities are set to remain closed indefinitely to ensure the NFL is in compliance with current novel coronavirus regulations,” according to NFL.com. “Therefore clubs were advised to prepare to conduct the draft outside of their facilities with personnel advised to be in separate locations, using phone and the internet to communicate.
