SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – AT&T SportsNet and the Utah Jazz announced a new series of ‘Jazz Playback’ broadcasts that will air over the next month as the NBA remains in hiatus due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Jazz have added twelve scheduled broadcasts to the existing lineup beginning Saturday, April 11. The station had originally scheduled 11 re-airings, bringing the existing total to 23 by May 11.

Understanding Jazz fans may not have an opportunity to rewatch all of the modern classics on TV, KSL Sports has ranked the newly added games in order of best to worst.

1. Johnson’s Game One Buzzer-Beater – April, 20

Perhaps no game in Jazz history has started worse and finished better than the team’s game one victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 2017 playoffs.

The game started with Rudy Gobert going down with a knee contusion in the opening seconds of the game and ended with Joe Johnson’s thrilling buzzer-beating push shot over Jamal Crawford.

2. Millsap’s Heroics To Beat Heat In OT – May 11

Every once in a while, an All-Star blossoms in front of your eyes and makes it clearly apparent they will be a difference-maker in the league.

There may be no better example of that than Paul Millsap’s miracle minute in Miami. The Jazz forward scored 11 points in the final 28 seconds of regulation to force the game to overtime, where he finished with a then career-high 46 points to beat LeBron James and the Heat.

3. Rubio’s Game Three Triple-Double vs. Thunder – April 29

Ricky Rubio’s tenure in Utah was short-lived, but he helped propel the Jazz from a potential rebuilding team in Gordon Hayward’s absence to back to back playoff appearances in his two seasons with the Jazz.

Rubio’s best moment came against the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2011 when in game three, the Spanish guard recorded a triple-double against Russell Westbrook in front of a sold out Vivint Smart Home Arena.

4. Utah’s Big Road Win At STAPLES Center – May 6

Earlier this year, KSL Sports ranked all 64 games from the Jazz this season and the team’s win at STAPLES Center over Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and the Clippers topped the list.

Donovan Mitchell’s huge fourth quarter outshined both Leonard and George, and the team got a big boost from Jordan Clarkson in just his second game in a Jazz uniform.

5. Another Iconic Buzzer-Beater For Bogdanovic – April 13

After struggling for most of the game, Bojan Bogdanovic caught an inbound pass from Joe Ingles with 1.6 seconds left on the clock. With no option but to turn and fire, the Jazz forward sank a 35-foot three-point shot over PJ Tucker and James Harden.

The shot was only Bogdanovic’s second made field-goal of the game, but gave the Jazz one of their most improbable wins of the season.

6. Mitchell’s First 40-Point Game – April 22

Like Millsap’s breakout in Miami, Donovan Mitchell had a series of breakout moments during his rookie season.

Christmas came early for Jazz fans when Mitchell scored 41 points on December 1 against the New Orleans Pelicans, lighting up the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

7. Bogdanovic Has 35 Points In Thriller At New Orleans – May 8

If this list were ranking the most controversial Jazz wins, this game would be near the top. Bojan Bogdanovic carried the Jazz to victory with 35 points in an incredible shooting performance, but it was Rudy Gobert’s defense that will be remembered from this game.

Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram had his shot blocked by Gobert on the final play of the game to give the Jazz the two-point victory.

8. Gobert’s OT Tip-In Game Winner At Sacramento – April 15

While Gobert’s block against the Pelicans may have been the French center’s most recent bout with controversy on the floor, it wasn’t his first.

In March 2017, Gobert beat the Sacramento Kings with a last-second tip-in. The game was originally ruled a Kings victory, but game officials reversed course upon review and gave the Jazz the win.

9. Gobert Seals Win With Clutch Block vs. Dallas

Occasionally throughout the NBA season, it feels like the entire basketball world has its eyes on one game. With a rare 5 pm tipoff in Salt Lake City, the world was truly watching as Rudy Gobert, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luka Doncic faced off at a time when much of Europe could tune in.

With just 24 seconds left in the game, Gobert recovered for an improbable block against the Delon Wright to preserve the Jazz one point before finally putting the Mavericks away.  Gobert would finish with 22 points, 17 rebounds, and five blocks, while connecting on all eight of his field-goal attempts to down Dallas in one of his most dominant performances of the season.

10. Mitchell Posts 28 Points In Road Victory At Boston – May 4

The Jazz didn’t get to face former All-Star for Gordon Hayward for more than a year after he spurned the team that drafted him for the Boston Celtics in the summer of 2017.

Jazz fans anxiously awaited a matchup between Hayward and Mitchell, and the new star didn’t disappoint. Mitchell poured in 28 points, including a chase-down block against Hayward to help seal the victory.

11. Utah’s 30-Point Victory Vs. Golden State – April 24

There’s a saying about the league that rings true today more than ever before — ‘It’s a make or miss league.’

That rule was clearly on display when an upstart Jazz team destroyed the Kevin Durant and Steph Curry led Golden State Warriors by 30 points. Despite being six games under .500, the Jazz held the Warriors to just five made three-point attempts, helping to spur a furious finish to the season that saw the Jazz qualify for the playoffs.

12. Ingles Posts 27 points In Home Win Vs. Boston – May 1

Have you ever seen a headline that says Joe Ingles scores 28 points? The answer is no, because Ingles has hit his career-high 27 points six different times, but can’t seem to breakthrough.

One of those games came in a home victory over the Celtics in November of 2018 on an impressive 10-14 shooting.

13. Gobert’s 35-Point 15-Rebound Outing Vs. New York – April 17

Gobert is known for his incredible rim protection and huge rebounding games, but he’s underappreciated as a scorer.

The Frenchman has had a series of big outings against the Knicks, but none have topped this performance that saw Gobert contribute a career-high 35 points in Salt Lake City.

14. Jazz Hang On To Beat San Antonio At Home – April 27

Perhaps the most forgettable game on the list, Jazz fans will have to wait for the fourth quarter to enjoy the magic.

The Jazz trailed by 13 entering the final period, but a big push from Mitchell erased the deficit and gave the Jazz their 10th straight win of the season.
