SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State cornerback D.J. Williams posted some great numbers at his personal pro day.

The Nashville, Tennessee native recorded 114 tackles, 18 pass breakups and 6 interceptions in two seasons with Utah State.

Like most athletes around the country, Williams had his pro day at Utah State canceled due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic.

Williams told KSL Sports that his agent believes he is projected to be a late round draft pick and is already having conversations with NFL teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.

40-Yard Dash

The former Aggie ran a 4.53 40-yard dash at his personal pro day.

Had that time been recorded at the Combine, Williams would have ran the 11th fastest time among all of the defensive backs that participated.

Bench Press

Williams posted an impressive 18 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

At the Combine among the other defensive backs, Williams would have finished with the fourth highest reps.

Vertical Jump

On the vertical jump, Williams recorded 37 inches.

Williams would’ve tied for the fourth best result at the Combine, joining Auburn defensive back Noah Igbinoghene. Only Temple’s Harrison Hand, Ohio State’s Jeff Okudah, Wake Forest DB Essang Bassey, Georgia Southern Kindle Vildor, TCU’s Jeff Gladney and Flordia DB C.J. Henderson had a better vertical jump.

In the broad jump, Williams leaped 115 inches.

3-Cone Drill

Williams ran the three cone drill in 6.80 seconds.

That would have been the fastest time at the NFL Combine among defensive backs and the fourth fastest time among all participants.

20-Yard Shuttle

In the 20-yard shuttle, Williams ran the drill in 4.12 seconds.

That ranks third at the Combine among the defensive backs and fourth among all participants.

The NFL Draft will take place April 23-25.
