Despite Four Players Scoring In Double Figures, Weber State Falls In Regular-Season Finale

CHENEY, Wash. – Weber State’s four players who scored in double figures against Eastern Washington weren’t enough as the Wildcats fell to the Eagles in the regular-season finale.
The Wildcats played the Eagles at Reese Court on Saturday, March 7.
Weber State starters Jerrick Harding, Cody John, Tim Fuller, and Michal Kozak all scored 10 points on more in the Wildcats’ 78-69 loss at Eastern Washington.

Harding led the Wildcats with 18 points on 7-19 shooting including 2-5 from downtown. He added 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

John poured in 15 points on 7-17 field goals. He added 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
Fuller and Kozak scored 11 points and 10 points respectively.

Weber State ended the contest shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from distance.
Eastern Washington shot 43.9 percent for the game including 41.9 percent on triples.
The Eagles were led by Jacob Davison’s 24 points on 9-20 shooting.

With the win, Eastern Washington won the Big Sky Conference regular-season championship outright and improved to 23-8 on the season. The Eagles were 16-4 in conference games.

Weber State completed the regular season with a 12-19 overall record. The Wildcats were 8-12 in Big Sky play.
The Wildcats earned the No. 8 seed in the Big Sky Conference tournament. Weber State plays the No. 9 seed Sacramento State Hornets in the first round of the tourney on Wednesday, March 11 at 9:30 a.m. (MDT).
Weber State and Sacramento State split the season series 1-1.
