SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The NFL Scouting Combine announced that 12 former Utah Utes and Utah State Aggies will be participating in the upcoming combine at the end of February.
Utah had the most players from the school to be invited to the Combine in program history. Also, it’s the fourth most of any school in the country. Utah State had three players invited.
Of those nine players, eight of them played on the defensive side of the ball for the Utes, including defensive end Bradlee Anae, defensive tackles Leki Fotu and John Penisini, linebacker Francis Bernard, cornerbacks Javelin Guidry and Jaylon Johnson, and safeties Terrell Burgess and Julian Blackmon.
The only offensive player that received an invitation was running back and reigning Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year Zack Moss.
