SALT LAKE CITY – In the final game of what shall be known as the “Beehive Classic,” BYU forward Yoeli Childs is sending the classic out in style. Like he did last year against Utah, Childs had another ferocious slam dunk on Saturday night against Utah State at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Near the midway point of the first half, BYU led Utah State 15-14 and guard TJ Haws found Childs posting up. Childs caught the entry pass, made a move to the hoop, and slammed the ball home with two hands.
Is that dunk better than the poster Childs on the Utes last year? Probably not. But it’s just one of the many highlight-worthy dunks Childs has thrown down in his four years at BYU.
That dunk was one of only two field goals made from Childs in the first half against the Aggies. Childs had four points and four rebounds in 13 minutes of action.
BYU leads Utah State 35-28 at the half of the Beehive Classic. You can listen to the game on KSL NewsRadio and watch the broadcast on BYUtv.
