Donovan Mitchell Puts Down Vicious Dunk Against Timberwolves

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell threw down a violent one-handed slam dunk against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Mitchell’s jam came during the first quarter of the Jazz’s game against the Wolves at the Target Center on Wednesday, December 11.
The Jazz guard, wearing a city edition uniform, drove against Timberwolves forward Robert Covington. As he entered the paint, Mitchell wrapped the ball behind his back before going up high and forcefully throwing the ball through the rim.

Mitchell’s slam gave the Jazz a 17-16 lead with 3:14 left in the first quarter.
Utah held a 25-23 advantage at the end of the opening quarter. The two teams were tied at 59 at the half.
At the break, Mitchell led the Jazz with 17 points on 8-11 shooting. He added 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 17 first half minutes.

Jeff Teague had 22 points for the Wolves.
