Utes Repeat Uniform Combo From 2015 Beating Of Ducks For Title Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah will wear their all-white uniform combination when they take the field on Friday night in Santa Clara, California against the Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
The main reason why this combination is being worn is because it’s the same one that Utah sported when they dominated the Ducks in Eugene on September 26, 2015.
The white helmet, jersey and pants along with red trim is the same combination that was worn in Utah’s 33-28 win over the Washington Huskies on November 2 in Seattle.

The then-No. 18 ranked Utes beat No. 13 Oregon 62-20 at Autzen Stadium. In that game, both Utah and Oregon were tied at 6 at the end of the first quarter before the Utes rattled off 49 points in the second and third quarters, while limiting the Ducks to 7 points.
Utah quarterback Travis Wilson threw for 227 yards and four touchdowns, while also racking up 100 rushing yards on just six carries and another score. Wide receiver Kenneth Scott hauled in 75 receiving yards on 6 catches and one touchdown. Both Britain Covey and Caleb Repp had two receiving touchdowns apiece.
That win was one of two victories over the Ducks since the Utes joined the Pac-12 in 2011 and is also the only win at Oregon. The other victory over the Pac-12 North Champions came last season when Utah won the game 32-25 at home.
The Utes and Ducks will battle for the Pac-12 Championship on Friday night at Levi’s Stadium. The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC.
