MVP Mahomes, Others Express Support For Jamaal Williams Following Injury

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and AFC MVP, Patrick Mahomes and others expressed their support for Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams following an injury Williams sustained.
Williams carted off the field after suffering from a helmet-to-helmet hit on Thursday, September 26 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mahomes was one of many NFL players to tweet their concern for Williams.

Mahomes and Williams are both members of the 2017 draft class. They also share the same agent, Leigh Steinberg.

The former BYU RB was injured carrying the ball on the Packers’ first offensive play of the game.
After stabilizing the running back, medical personnel carted him off of the field. While being carted off, Williams gave a “thumbs up” to the crowd. He was transported to a local hospital.
Williams is being evaluated for neck and head injuries. The Packers reported that he had feeling and movement in all of his extremities.
