Ingles Wears Autism Awareness Warm-Up Before Australia/USA Game

MELBOURNE, Aus. – Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles was jogging out of the tunnel to the court prior to Australia’s second exhibition game against the United States and he wore an warm-up shirt for Autism Awareness.
Ingles has been focused on Autism Awareness since his three-year-old son Jacob was diagnosed on February 13.
He posted a picture on Instagram of him and Patty Mills of the San Antonio Spurs running out of the tunnel with the jersey.
Since the diagnosis, the Jazz have supported Ingles and his efforts with the awareness. They had an Autism Awareness Night on March 27 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Utah Jazz already have those children with special needs in mind. As part of the renovation at Vivint Smart Home Arena, the team had a special room built for those with intellectual disabilities, so that they can enjoy the game environment in a sensory-sensitive manner.
The Jazz veteran is taking full advantage of his platform as not only an NBA player but, playing on an international stage.
