Former Aggie Bobby Wagner Becomes Highest Paid NFL LB

SEATTLE, Wash. – Former Utah State Aggies linebacker Bobby Wagner will be staying in Seattle for a long time after agreeing to a three-year contract extension with the Seahawks.
The deal is worth $54 million over that three year span and will become the highest paid linebacker in the NFL with $40 million guaranteed.
Wagner was entering the final year of his current contract, but the new deal will keep him with the Seahawks until 2022.

He has had a successful career thus far and is considered one of the top linebackers in the NFL.
Wagner was a three time All-WAC selection while in Logan.
Since then, he is a four-time first team All-Pro, five-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl XLVIII Champion in 2014 with a 43-8 win over the Denver Broncos.
Wagner was selected by the Seahawks in the second round, 47th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Throughout his career, he has compiled 916 tackles, 16.5 sacks, 41 pass deflections, 9 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles and 3 defensive touchdowns.
