Reports: Jazz To Sign Guard Nigel Williams-Goss

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – After a very aggressive off-season and upgrading their roster, the Utah Jazz are now filling in the final pieces of the roster ahead of the 2019-20 season by agreeing to terms with Nigel Williams-Goss.
According to Varlas Nikos of Euro Hoops, the Jazz have agreed to a three-year contract to bring Williams-Goss back to Salt Lake City.
Williams-Goss was selected by the Jazz in second round (55th overall) in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga.

He played on the Jazz’s Summer League team in 2017 before signing a two-year contract with Serbian club Partizan, where he was named the Serbian Cup MVP in 2018.
After his time in Serbia, Williams-Goss signed a three-year deal with Olympiacos B.C. in Greece. He played 23 games this past season and averaged 11.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, while shooting 44 percent from the field and 40 percent from downtown.
He will join a loaded point guard heavy team that includes Mike Conley Jr., Dante Exum and Emmanuel Mudiay. Williams-Goss will have the luxury to play for their G-League affiliate the Salt Lake City Stars if he doesn’t get much playing time with the Jazz, but Mudiay can also be used as a shooting guard.
