Donovan Mitchell Plays Hoops In Louisville With Atlanta’s Trae Young

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell was back on the campus of his alma mater to play some hoops with the Louisville basketball team.
Mitchell was joined by joined by Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and his former Louisville teammate Trey Lewis, who was signed briefly by the Jazz last season and played with Utah’s summer league squads a year ago.
In college, Mitchell earned first team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors as a sophomore after averaging 15.6 points per game for the Cardinals in 2016-17. He was drafted with the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets and immediately traded to Utah for the 24th overall pick, which became Tyler Lydon, and Trey Lyles.

Interestingly, Mitchell was photographed wearing Spider-Man and Adidas-branded shorts. Mitchell’s first signature shoe, the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 is expected to release in early July in conjunction with newest Marvel movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home in a colorway inspired by Spider-Man’s blue and red suit.
