PROVO, Utah – Despite a disappointing end to their baseball season, the BYU Cougars continue to bring the season honors.
Right fielder Brock Hale and shortstop Jackson Cluff were named to the ABCA/Rawlings West All-Region Second Team.
It’s the latest major honor for Hale, who was named the West Coast Conference’s Player of the Year. In 2019, he started all 53 games and hit .330 with 67 hits and 11 home runs.

Cluff was also named to an All-WCC team after leading the team with 57 runs, 20 doubles, and 56 RBIs. Last week, he was drafted in the sixth round of the MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.
The Cougars won the WCC regular season championship with a 36-17 record but were eliminated quickly in the conference tournament.
