SEATTLE, Wash. – The three day minicamp for draft picks and undrafted free agents have concluded for the Seattle Seahawks and the organization is pleased with their second round pick Marquise Blair.
Blair was paired up with fellow safety Ugo Amadi from the University of Oregon. Blair was lined up as the strong safety with Armadi as the free safety.
“Those guys are both smart kids and they understood the system and we did a lot of stuff, we changed coverages,” Carroll said to the media. “We made them make adjustments. We pressured, we did all kinds of things to see how they would handle it. There is going to be no problem at all with those guys,” he added.
Blair was asked after the first day, what the whole week leading up to camp was like.
“It changed my life,” Blair said. “I am just here to work. I am happy that they [Seattle] picked me.”

Known for his physicality that even resulted in a couple of ejections for targeting while playing for the Utes, Blair is set up to get some time on the field for Seattle.

“He [Barton] called me,” he said. “He was excited because me and Cody get along well, it’s exciting,” Blair added.
