SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – KSLSports.com’s Bracket of Movies continues with a second round matchup of the 23 and 26 seeds.
No. 23 Happy Gilmore upset No. 10 Major League in the first round. The 1996 classic starring Adam Sandler and Christopher McDonald is about a rejected hockey player that puts his skills on the golf course to save his grandmother’s house.
No. 26 Bad News Bears pulled off the upset over No. 7 Slapshot in the opening round. The 1976 film starred Walter Matthau, Tatum O’Neal and Vic Morrow about an aging, down-on-his-luck ex-minor leaguer coaches a team of misfits in an ultra-competitive California little league. The remake was released in 2005.
