SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – At the end of the first quarter of the Utah Jazz’s game against the Washington Wizards, Jazz forward Joe Ingles hit a buzzer beater and then showed some of his signature emotion.
On the heels of a terrific near-triple-double against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, Ingles continued his strong play with 10 points in the opening period against Washington.

With seconds remaining in the first quarter, Ingles took a pass from Jae Crowder, faked a 3-point attempt and drove near the foul line and let it rip. The ball sailed through the hoop just as the buzzer expired.
After the made basket, it appeared that Ingles shouted something in the direction of the Wizards’ bench. Known as one of the fiercest competitors and trash-talkers in the NBA, it wouldn’t be too far out of the status quo for Ingles.
After the first, the Jazz led the Wizards 39-30.
