SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – KSLSports.com’s Bracket of Movies continues with a matchup of the 11 and 22 seeds.
No. 11-seed Friday Night Lights was released in 2004, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Jay Hernandez and Derek Luke. It’s based on H.G. Bissinger’s book, which features the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas and their heroic high school football team, The Permian High Panthers.
No. 22-seed The Mighty Ducks had their first movie released in 1992, starring Emilio Estevez, who plays a self-centered lawyer in Minnesota that is sentenced to community service coaching a youth hockey team.
