Nevada Player Punches Glass Extinguisher Case Following Loss

LOGAN, Utah – Moments after losing to Utah State 81-76, Nevada players started to make their way to the locker room but had encounters with fans who stormed the court after the massive win for the Aggies.

Nevada players and coaches were upset about fans at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum touching the players throughout the game and when they stormed the court. The Wolfpack were forced to enter their locker room through the Utah State tunnel because the fans were blocking their tunnel.

Emotions started boiling over to the point where Nevada forward Jordan Caroline punched the glass case that was holding a fire extinguisher at the Spectrum. He had to be restrained by teammates and coaches.

This was the scene near the Utah State locker room. Players and coaches tried to get in, upset about fans touching the players on the court.

After the players made their way to the locker room, they wanted to keep both teams separated in their respective locker rooms, just to keep the situation calm. Police officers were involved and seemed to have attempted to get Nevada into their locker room.
