Jazz Ranked As 19th Most Valuable NBA Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – According to Forbes’ annual list of the most valuable NBA franchises, the Utah Jazz came in as the 19th most valuable team in the league.
The New York Knicks were ranked as the most valuable team with a $4 billion valuation while the Memphis Grizzlies brought up the rear with a value of $1.2 billion.

The Jazz were valued at $1.425 billion, ranked just below the Oklahoma City Thunder and above the Indiana Pacers.
Interestingly, the Jazz were the top team at getting the most out of their fans with getting an average revenue of $101 per fan.
In the report by Forbes, the Jazz were commended for the recent upgrades to Vivint Smart Home Arena, with the authors projecting that the renovations will generate more revenue for the team.

The report also stated that nearly every team but the Cleveland Cavaliers increased its value. This could be due to the departure of superstar LeBron James to the Los Angeles Lakers during the offseason.
