Twitter Reacts After Gobert Gets Snubbed From All-Star Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Fans and media alike were shocked when the NBA All-Star rosters were announced with the omission of Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
Gobert, who was named the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year last season, had been playing especially well for the Jazz this season. Still, he was not selected by the Western Conference’s head coaches as a reserve for the All-Star Game, which will take place Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. in Charlotte, N.C.
According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, Gobert also missed out on a $1 million bonus for not making the team.
NBA pundits and fans took to social media quickly to voice their displeasure at Gobert’s exclusion.
