Utah Teenager Signs With German Soccer Club Bayern Munich

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Eden’s own Taylor Booth, formerly a member of the Real Salt Lake Academy, has signed a three and a half year contract with German powerhouse Bayern Munich.
“We see a lot of potential in Taylor. He is a talented young player, and we look forward to working with him to develop his talent further,” said Bayern Munich campus manager Jochen Sauer.

In addition to his experience with the Real Salt Lake Academy, the 17-year-old Booth has also represented the U.S. by playing on the U19 squad and in the U17 World Cup in 2017.
“I’m very happy with this next step in my career,” said Booth. “FC Bayern is one of the largest clubs in the world. Being here in Munich at the FC Bayern campus and taking the next steps in my development makes me very proud. “
