Siaki Ika Headlines Utah High School Football Players Leaving The State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Aside from the many in state football players that are staying in the beehive state, there are a few that will be playing college football out of state.
There were 11 in-state players that committed to a college team early as it was the first day that a recruit could sign for the 2019 season. Only three of those 11 athletes decided to leave the state.
East High School defensive lineman Siaki “Apu” Ika was the highest ranked recruit coming out of the state of Utah chose to play for LSU. The four-star prospect selected the Tigers out of Florida, Oregon, Utah and USC.
