Kyle Kuzma Playing Well As Lakers Start Winning

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Kyle Kuzma scored 20 points or more in back-to-back games as the Los Angeles Lakers start collecting wins.

Delon Wright continues to play important minutes for the Raptors off the bench as they have the best record in the NBA.

Damian Lillard scored 20 points or more in all three games during week six of the season, but the Blazers went 0-3.

Here’s how the locals did in their sixth week of the NBA season from November 21-27:

Former Utes

Kyle Kuzma – Los Angeles Lakers (11-9)

Kuzma logged back-to-back 21 point performances to end the sixth week of the season in losses to Orlando and Denver. He was limited to just nine points against the Jazz. The Lakers went 2-2 during the week.

NEXT UP: The Lakers have three games during week seven as they will host Indiana, Dallas and Phoenix.


Jakob Poeltl – San Antonio Spurs (10-10)

The former Ute started the week by only playing six minutes before 14 minutes or more in the next three games of week six. His best game was on the 26th in their win over the Bulls, he had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.

NEXT UP: The Spurs will play four games during week seven as they travel to Minnesota before hosting Houston and Portland. They will end the week on the road against the Utah Jazz.


Delon Wright – Toronto Raptors (18-4)

Wright had back-to-back 10 point performances in the Raptors’ wins over Washington and Miami. He continues to be a major part of the rotation as he logged 69 minutes in four games.

NEXT UP: Toronto’s three games in week seven will begin at home against Golden State before playing Cleveland on the road and finishing at home versus Denver.

Former Wildcats

Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers (12-8)

It wasn’t the greatest week for the Blazers but Lillard had a great week. He started by scoring 22 points against Milwaukee. Followed up with a 23 point performance in their loss to Golden State and dropped 30 points in the Blazers four point loss to the Clippers.

NEXT UP: Portland will be at home against Orlando and Denver before traveling to San Antonio and Dallas to end week seven.
