Jazz Beat Celtics Again; Snap Two Game Skid

BOSTON, Mass. – The Utah Jazz beat the Boston Celtics for the second time in eight days, 98-86.
Ricky Rubio had 20 points while Rudy Gobert was just shy of a double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Jayson Tatum added 10 points as they were the only two players for Boston to score in double figures. The Celtics shot 38 percent from the field and just 15 percent from downtown.
Former Jazzman Gordon Hayward scored seven points.
Donovan Mitchell Leading The Way
Donovan Mitchell continued his strong play from the previous game against the Sixers. He finished with 28 points and 6 assists, including 14 points in the first half in Boston.
Utah held a five point lead at the half 50-45.
The Jazz sparked a second half run of 13-2. They pushed their lead to as much as 22 points and won the game by 12 points.
“I am pleased with the effort,” said Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder after the game. “It has to be more than one game. If you do it more consistently that becomes who you are,” he added.

The Jazz improved to 8-8 on the season, they will finish their five game road trip on Monday against the Indiana Pacers. The game will begin at 5 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet.
