A Pair Of Utah Teammates Face Each Other In NBA Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A pair of former teammates at the University of Utah, Delon Wright and Kyle Kuzma faced each other with their NBA teams. Their individual performances were the best of the third week of the season.
Damian Lillard had two good performances out of the Blazers four games in week three.
Here’s how the locals did in their third week of the NBA season from October 31 to November 6:
Former Utes
Kyle Kuzma – Los Angeles Lakers (4-6)
Kuzma led the Lakers with 24 points against the Toronto Raptors on November 4. He averaged 18 points in their three games during the third week of the season as LA went 2-1 during that stretch.
NEXT UP: The Lakers have three games scheduled next week, two games are at home against Minnesota and Atlanta with the Sacramento Kings as their only road contest.
Jakob Poeltl – San Antonio Spurs (6-3)
Poeltl played a total of 23 minutes in the three games during the third week of the season. He scored four points and collected 9 rebounds as San Antonio finished week three at 2-1.
NEXT UP: The Spurs will play three games during week four, traveling to Miami and Sacramento while hosting Houston in-between the two road games.
Delon Wright – Toronto Raptors (10-1)
Wright played his best game in Los Angeles against former Utah teammate Kyle Kuzma. He scored 11 points in 22 minutes. Wright had 9 points in his only game in Salt Lake City against the Jazz. Toronto has won four games in a row.
NEXT UP: Three games are on the schedule for Toronto. They will begin in Sacramento before returning home to face the New York Knicks and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Former Wildcats
Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers (8-3)
Lillard dropped 26 points against the New Orleans Pelicans followed by 30 at home against the Lakers. He ended the third week of the season scoring 18 on the Minnesota Timberwolves and just 13 points on 5-15 shooting in their win over Milwaukee.
NEXT UP: Portland will be home for two games during week four as they face the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics.
