Snow College To Face Iowa Western In Graphic Edge Bowl

EPHRAIM, Utah – The Snow College Badgers found out their destination and opponent in their upcoming bowl game. They will face NJCAA No.3 Iowa Western Reivers in the Graphic Edge Bowl on Sunday, December 2 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The Badgers finished their regular season with an 8-2 record and ranked No. 9 in the NJCAA football rankings while finishing second in the Western States Football League. Their only losses this season were on the road against Scottsdale Community College and Eastern Arizona College. Snow College lost by 23 combined points. In their eight wins of their dominating season, they outscored their opponents 488 to 130.
Iowa Western ended their season with a 9-1 record. Their lone loss was to Garden City Community College by three points. Garden City is playing the NJCAA National Championship.
Snow’s Bowl History
The Badgers are 17-5 in bowl games that includes a 43-41 win over Blinn College last season in the El Toro Bowl. Their last loss in a bowl game was in 2008 against Butler Community College.
Snow College last played Iowa Western on December 4, 2010 and won 48-36.
Their quarterback is Alta High School graduate Braxton Kerr. He has thrown for 2,131 yards and 25 touchdowns. Snow’s running back is East High’s Jaylen Warren, who has racked up 1,294 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Graphic Edge Bowl
The bowl game first started in 1978. Iowa Western has played in the bowl game five times and have never lost. Their game in 2012 was for the NJCAA National Championship which the Reivers won. Snow College has never appeared in the Graphic Edge Bowl.
