SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 6A, 5A, and 4A championships are set, and the 3A, 2A, and 1A classifications have crowned their champions.
6A
American Fork beat Bingham in an overtime thriller with a game-sealing interception from Jeremiah Shipley, Lone Peak runs past Pleasant Grove with a 29-0 setting up a 6A championship game between the Knights and Cavemen.
5A
Skyridge and Corner Canyon will battle for their first championship after Skyridge knocked off Roy, 42-15 and Corner Canyon picked up a 20-15 win over Olympus.
4A
Orem will face Dixie for a chance at its second-straight state title in the 4A classification. The Tigers beat Pine View 62-20 and the Flyers shut down Park City 20-0.
3A
After winning two championships with Alta, head coach Les Hamilton leads Summit Academy to the 3A championship with a 55-18 win over North Sanpete behind 140 yards and two touchdowns from running back Talmage Brown.
2A
South Summit scored 50 points to cruise to back-to-back state championships. Quarterback Kael Atkinson threw for four touchdowns and added another two on the ground in the win.
1A
Milford won their 19th-straight game and second consecutive 1A state championship behind six touchdown passes from junior quarterback Bryson Barnes.
