Aggies Enter Top 25, Utes Move Up After Busy Week In College Football

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It was a crazy weekend in college football as 11 ranked teams lost. That was good news for the Utah Utes and Utah State Aggies as the Utes moved up and the Aggies moved into the top 25.
Utes Move Up
The Utes won their 4th straight game with a 41-10 thrashing of UCLA on the road Friday night. They just jumped up seven spots from 23rd to 16th in the A.P. poll and from 24th to 16th in the coaches’ poll.

With Colorado and USC both losing on Saturday, the Utes now have a one game lead in the Pac-12 South.
Utah is at Arizona State Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
Utah State Gets Credit For 7th Straight Win
The Aggies moved into the top 25 for the first time in six years following Saturday’s 61-19 win over New Mexico. They are 18th in the A.P. poll and 20th in the coaches’ poll marking just the fourth time in school history that the Aggies have been ranked in the A.P. poll.

Utah State, who is in first place in the Mountain West Conference Mountain division, heads to Hawaii on Saturday.
