SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The former quarterbacks from the Beehive State, Alex Smith and Taysom Hill both played major roles in helping their respective teams earn victories in the NFL’s Week 8. The Rams, with former Ute Dominique Hatfield, continued to dominate their opponents and remain the league’s only undefeated team thus far.

Here’s how former college stars from the state of Utah performed on the NFL field this week:

Former Utes

Tony Bergstrom – Redskins
In the Redskin’s 20-17 win over Dallas, Bergstrom got on the field for four special teams snaps.
NEXT UP: at Giants (1-5), Sunday at 11 a.m. on FOX.

Garett Bolles – Broncos
Bolles started at left tackle and played 59 offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps in the Broncos’ big 45-10 win over the Cardinals on Thursday. With the game over earlier in the week, he and teammate Tim Patrick gave their support to the Utes on Saturday.
59 offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps
NEXT UP: at Chiefs (6-1), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Devontae Booker – Broncos
Booker played sparingly in the Broncos’ win at Arizona. He made one catch for minus-1 yard in six offensive snaps and 11 special teams snaps.
NEXT UP: at Chiefs (6-1), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Dominique Hatfield – Rams
The former Ute got his first action of the year on defense, playing on six defensive snaps and then on 20 special teams snaps in the unbeaten Rams’ 39-10 win over the 49ers.
NEXT UP: vs. Packers (3-2-1), Sunday at 2:25 p.m. on FOX.

Star Lotulelei – Bills
In the Bills’ 37-5 blowout loss to the Colts, Loutlelei made two solo tackles.
NEXT UP: vs. Patriots (5-2), Monday at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.

Tim Patrick – Broncos
Before showing up to the Utah football game on Saturday, Patrick played in 16 offensive snaps and 22 special teams snaps in the Broncos’ blowout of the Cardinals.
NEXT UP: at Chiefs (6-1), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Eric Rowe – Patriots
The Pats edged out a 38-31 win over the Bears, but had to do so without too much help from Rowe, who left the game with a groin injury after making two solo tackles in 28 defensive plays. He is questionable for New England’s next game against Buffalo.
NEXT UP: at Bills (2-5), Monday at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.

Alex Smith – Redskins
Smith did just enough to lead the Redskins to a win over the Cowboys. He completed 14-of-25 passes, his lowest rate of the year, for 178 yards and a touchdown. His TD pass to Kapri Bibbs on the Redskins’ opening drive of the game was huge in Washington’s three-point victory.
NEXT UP: vs. Giants (1-5), Sunday at 11 a.m. on FOX.

Sam Tevi – Chargers
Tevi started at right tackle as the Chargers survived a late comeback attempt from the Titans in a 20-17 win in London.
NEXT UP: BYE

Eric Weddle – Ravens
There was no victory ice cream for Weddle this week. The Ravens defense gave up 17 points in the fourth quarter and saw the win slip away in a 24-23 loss to the Saints. Weddle had seven total tackles, including five solo takedowns in the loss.
NEXT UP: vs. Panthers (4-2), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Marcus Williams – Saints
In the win over Baltimore, Williams had two solo tackles and two assisted tackles. He left with an undefined injury and it has been yet to be established if he will play next week against the Vikings.
NEXT UP: at Vikings (4-2-1), Sunday at 6:20 p.m. on KSL

Former Cougars

Michael Davis – Chargers
In the Chargers’ win over Tennessee, Davis played in eight defensive snaps and 14 special teams snaps.
NEXT UP: BYE

John Denney – Dolphins
The long-time long snapper had eight perfect snaps in the Dolphins’ 32-21 loss to the surging Lions.
NEXT UP: at Texans (4-3), Thursday at 6:20 p.m. on FOX.

Taysom Hill – Saints
As his teammate Drew Brees threw his 500th career touchdown pass, Hill got in the game for a career-high six carries. He picked up 35 yards but also fumbled on the game’s opening drive on a poor pitch out to running back Alvin Kamara in the Saints’ comeback win over the Ravens. He somewhat redeemed himself in the fourth quarter by picking up a first down on a 9-yard carry that set up a decisive field goal by New Orleans.
NEXT UP: at Vikings (4-2-1), Sunday at 6:20 p.m. on KSL.

Kyle Van Noy – Patriots
Van Noy made six solo tackles, including one for a loss in the Patriots’ hard-earned 38-31 win over the Bears.
NEXT UP: at Bills (2-5), Monday at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.

Fred Warner – 49ers
The rookie had his best game in several weeks with eight total tackles, four of which were unassisted in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. So far this season, Warner has not missed a snap on defense.
NEXT UP: vs. Cardinals (1-6), Sunday at 2:25 p.m. on FOX.

Former Aggies

Tyler Larson – Panthers
Larson played in two special teams snaps in the Panthers’ 21-17 comeback win over the defending champion Eagles.
NEXT UP: vs. Ravens (4-3), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Nevin Lawson – Lions
Lawson got the start for the Lions and made one solo tackle as the Lions won their second-straight with a victory over the Dolphins.
NEXT UP: vs. Seahawks (3-3), Sunday at 11 a.m. on FOX.

Patrick Scales – Bears
Scales appeared in 10 special teams snaps in the Bears’ loss to the Patriots.
NEXT UP: vs. Jets (3-4), Sunday at 11 a.m. on CBS.

Zach Vigil – Redskins
In the Redskins’ win, Vigil appeared in 24 special teams snaps.
NEXT UP: vs. Giants (1-5), Sunday at 11 a.m. on FOX.

Former Wildcats

Taron Johnson – Bills
The rookie rookie made a career high in tackles with seven, all solo, including one for loss in the Bills’ blowout loss to the Colts.
NEXT UP: at Raiders (1-5), Sunday at 2:05 p.m. on CBS.

Former Thunderbirds

Miles Killebrew – Lions
