Micah Davis Breaks Free For Long Utah State Touchdown

LOGAN, Utah – Micah Davis put the exclamation point on Utah State’s excellent first half, beating the Nevada defense for a 47-yard touchdown catch and run. The TD gave USU a 24-10 halftime lead.
Utah State is hosting the Nevada Wolf Pack at Maverik Stadium on Saturday, November 11.

Junior wideout Micah Davis achieved separation off the snap, splitting two Wolf Pack defenders and gliding to a perfectly placed deep ball from Cooper Legas. Davis sprinted untouched into the end zone for his sixth TD of the season.
Davis leads USU with 87 yards and a score on six catches. Legas completed 13-of-18 passes for 129 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the opening half.

Ahead of the game, USU head coach Blake Anderson shared that Cooper Legas would be the Aggies’ starting quarterback for the contest.
“At this point, I feel like [Legas] gives us the best chance to win,” Anderson said. “If he went back in and played as a veteran guy and didn’t put the ball in harm’s way, then he’s earned the right to play. We’ll be moving forward with [Legas].”
