SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz have changed the Wi-Fi network inside the Delta Center to “JordanPushedOff” in homage to the Finals teams that fell to the Chicago Bulls in the late ’90s.
Jazz governor Ryan Smith appeared on ESPN’s Pat McAfee and discussed the new Wi-Fi signal.
“The Wi-Fi in the building is ‘JordanPushedOff”,” Smith mentioned. “I don’t know how.”

Jordan Pushed Off Was Jazz Rallying Cry Pre Wi-Fi
Long before the days of Wi-Fi internet “Jordan Pushed Off” has been a well-known phrase within Jazz and NBA circles.
The now famous Wi-Fi network is a reference to the last shot of Michael Jordan’s career with the Chicago Bulls which he hit over Jazz defender Bryon Russell.

Prior to pulling up for the shot, Jordan …ahem… encourages Russell’s momentum with his left hand before pulling up at the free throw line to sink what proved to be the difference-making basket in his sixth and final championship.
How Can Jazz Fans Access JordanPushedOff Wi-Fi?
The Jazz implemented the JordanPushedOff Wi-Fi signal on opening night, but not all fans have automatically connected to the network.
Prior to this year, the default Wi-Fi signal inside the building was xfinitiywifi@deltacenter, and for fans who had previously connected to that network, their phones and mobile devices will still recommend the older signal.
By accessing the settings in their phone, fans can choose to “forget” the xfinitywifi@deltacenter network, and click on the JordanPushedOff Wi-Fi signal to make it their default internet provider inside the Delta Center.
Jazz fans will still have to agree to the terms of use on the JordanPushedOff network after selecting the network.
