SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz were blown out once again on the road in their 130-113 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
Lauri Markkanen scored 29 points to lead the Jazz.
The Bulls were led by Zach LaVine who had 24 points.
First Quarter
The emphasis on moving the ball was apparent early in the game as the Jazz pushed the ball around the perimeter leading to open shots for Jordan Clarkson and John Collins.
Lauri Markkanen is showing more confidence taking contested threes against smaller opponents.
The Jazz shot 4-5 from downtown in the first four minutes of the game.

Will Hardy switched up his rotation pulling John Collins off the floor at the first substitution. So far this season Walker Kessler was the first sub in favor of Kelly Olynyk.
Kris Dunn is back in the rotation after sitting on Saturday in the loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Jazz gave up a 16-4 run as soon as the first subs came into the game.
After one the Jazz trailed the Bulls 37-32.
Second Quarter
Talen Horton-Tucker and Dunn committed six turnovers in their first 15 minutes combined without dishing out an assist.
The Bulls were one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the NBA entering Monday’s game but knocked down nine of their first 18.

At the half, the Jazz trailed the Bulls 66-52.

George needs to be far more defensive with his dribble as he got ripped by Javon Carter and Andre Drummond against the Bulls two days after getting ripped by Mike Conley in Minnesota.
After three the Jazz trailed the Bulls 98-78.
Fourth Quarter
Markkanen has been the Jazz’s only real threat to start the season. He knocked down five threes midway through the fourth to cut the deficit to 17.
After averaging nine made threes per game heading into Monday the Bulls connected on 18-34 from downtown.
Hardy went to his deep bench with four minutes left to play.
The Jazz fell to the Bulls 130-113.
