PROVO, Utah – BYU football is moving to a network television spot thanks to the Texas Rangers closing out the World Series.
The Rangers finished off the Arizona Diamondbacks in five games on Wednesday. What does that have to do with BYU?
Texas Rangers winning the World Series promotes BYU/WVU to FOX
Well, the World Series was televised on FOX. BYU’s upcoming game at West Virginia was expected to be on FS1 if the World Series extended to a Game 7. Since the World Series is over, BYU/West Virginia gets promoted to a network television spot on FOX.
The Big 12 Conference’s Senior Director of Television, Justin Nusser, made the announcement on X after the World Series wrapped up.
