Earlier this year, the former Utah star partnered with USAA, a sponsor of the NFL, to discuss his parents’ service and what it means to him.
“So my father served in the military for 30 years. My mom was in for 10 years as well. My mom and my dad met in the Navy,” Lloyd replied. “Their service to me is everything just because they’re really sacrificing themselves for the country and for the greater good. So I learned so much about really just being a good person.”
An individual or group was nominated for each NFL team. Lloyd was selected for Jacksonville.
