DENVER – When the Denver Nuggets hosted the Utah Jazz on Monday, a fan spilled his beer on David Locke and Utah’s radio controls causing technical issues on the broadcast.
The incident caused the radio crew to miss most of the first quarter.
Apologies a guy just spilled a beer all over our radio engineers controls and so we are unable to start with the game on the broadcast. Hopefully up shortly.

After cleaning the area and troubleshooting, Locke and the crew were able to get back on the air following the conclusion of the first quarter.
Jake Scott and Tim LaComb hopped over to continue the broadcast while the crew in Ball Arena worked to get everything working.
Sorry we missed most of the 1st quarter.
We are back on the air. Join us https://t.co/i0OwfvxgW7

Jazz Drop To Defending Champs On Road
The Utah Jazz got strong play from their frontcourt, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to the Denver Nuggets 110-102.
Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and John Collins combined for 64 points and 36 rebounds in a breakout performance, though the Jazz fell to 1-3 on the season.
Nikola Jokic recorded 27 point, 10 rebound, 11 assist triple-double to improve the Nuggets to 4-0.

The Jazz struck a healthy balance in their frontcourt for the first time this season as each starting big man made major contributions to the roster.
Collins scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half, giving the team a much-needed spark in the second quarter scoring easily in the paint, stepping out and hitting a three, and earning three trips to the free-throw line.
“There were way more positive things coming out of tonight than negative,” Will Hardy said after the game. “Obviously we would have preferred to win, but that’s a very good basketball team.”
.@MarkkanenLauri looks to be in midseason form. 😤💪🏀#TakeNote #UTAvsDEN https://t.co/CkNzr4GX1x
