SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz rookie Keyonte George found John Collins for an alley-oop slam dunk during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets hosted the Jazz at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on Monday, October 30.
With 5:51 remaining in the first quarter, George lobbed a pass into the paint and into the hands of a jumping Collins. The forward/center threw down a slam dunk to cut Denver’s lead to 16-14. The Nuggets called timeout after the slam.

After the play, Collins had two points on 1-4 shooting. He also had one rebound in six minutes of action. During his first minute on the court, George posted the assist.
This season, Collins is averaging 13.0 points per game on 48.4 percent shooting. The Wake Forest product also averages 11.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.3 steals in 31.0 minutes per contest.
in the first three games of his NBA career, George averaged 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 0.3 steals in 19.3 minutes.
