SALT LAKE CITY – Game Night Live returns in Week 6 with a matchup between a pair of undefeated teams in 6A and Region 3 in the Lehi Pioneers and American Fork Cavemen.

KSL Sports’ Jeremiah Jensen, Stevenson Sylvester, and Mariluz Cook will be on the call and have full coverage of the contest and other games throughout the high school football season on Game Night Live.

Lehi Pioneers @ American Fork Cavemen
The Cavemen are scheduled to host the Pioneers at American Fork High School on Friday, September 15.

Previous Meeting
The Pioneers and Cavemen last faced each other on the gridiron in August 2020. It was the season opener amid the COVID-19 pandemic. American Fork hosted Lehi and blasted the rival Pioneers. The Cavemen shut out the Pioneers, 55-0. American Fork took a 27-0 lead in the first quarter and ran away with the contest.
Former Cavemen quarterback Maddux Madsen went 24/33 passing for 279 yards and five touchdowns in American Fork’s win. Spike Adams added a pair of rushing touchdowns on the ground.
Lehi went on to finish the year with a 6-5 record and American Fork finished 2020 at 8-4.
Pioneers and Cavemen in 2023
This season, both teams enter Week 6 with identical 5-0 records to start 2023.

Lehi owns victories over Davis, Desert Hills, Rigby (Idaho), Maple Mountain, and Herriman.
American Fork has opened the season with wins over Roy, Orem, West, Rigby (Idaho), and Bingham.
