Game Night Live: Week 5
Desert Hills Thunder @ Crimson Cliffs Mustangs
The Mustangs are scheduled to host the Thunder at Crimson Cliffs High School on Friday, September 8.
Previous Meeting
Last season, the Thunder and Mustangs met up in the 4A state championship game. The Thunder opened the contest with a 9-0 lead after a touchdown and field goal were scored in the first quarter. Desert Hills took that lead into the locker room at halftime. Following the break, the Thunder added another touchdown during the third quarter. Both teams score a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter. However, the 16-0 deficit proved to be too much for the Mustangs to come back from. Desert Hills won the game, 30-14, and capture the 4A title.
Noah Fuailetolo, Lincoln Holmes, Beau Wall, Cyrus Polu, and Tyden Morris account for Desert Hills’ touchdowns.
Mustangs quarterback Steele Barben finished the game 24/37 passing for 237 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.
Thunder & Mustangs in 2023

The Mustangs currently sit a 3-1 on the season. Crimson Cliffs opened the year with a win over the Morgan Trojans before falling in Week 2 at Bingham. The Mustangs have wins over Springville and Cedar in their last two games.
Kickoff between Desert Hills and Crimson Cliffs is slated for 7 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on KSLSports.com and the KSL Sports app.
